Program Evaluation

Services offered

Understanding your big questions and how to find the answers in a way that fits your organization or program is key to effectively transforming the communities you serve. I can work with your organization to:

  • Develop and refine your evaluation questions, including related outcomes, indicators, and targets;

  • Decide on data collection strategies that fit your organization and community (e.g surveys, interviews, observations, record review);

  • Create a data analysis plan;

  • Train staff or community members to conduct data collection;

  • Analyze collected data; and

  • Develop plan to make evaluation a part of your staff, board, and community meetings.

Past experience

I have conducted evaluations using multiple methodologies for programs ranging from health promotion to museum programming, including designing, implementing, and analyzing surveys, facilitating groups with various stakeholders, and conducting interviews. I have also completed graduate-level coursework in qualitative and quantitative research and evaluation methods.

I have been trained in designing and implementing evaluations for small non-profit organizations through the Building Evaluation Capacity program led by Anita M. Baker, Ed.D of Evaluation Services. I have conducted evaluations for Latino Community Services and the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art (both internally, and as a sub-contractor with Dr. Baker).  I am currently in the process of completing the Graduate Certificate in Program Evaluation from UCONN.
